Attention all fans of the original 60’s Lost in Space TV series (not the recent reboot)! A small developer by the name Scary Robot is currently working on a game that will take you back to the original story. Bringing you back to some of your favorite characters and enemies that you’ll remember from those memorable episodes.
You’ll get to play as Will Robinson, Dr. Smith, and Robot, as you try to help Will escape from being trapped within a cave during a hunting excursion. Once you escape, Will discovers things have changed and his family is missing. So you are thrown into a mystery that will bring you to various locations that should trigger some well-needed nostalgia as you try to figure out what has happened and who is behind it.
The game will be targeting all ages. It will feature multiple puzzles while providing hints or workarounds so they aren’t too difficult for younger gamers. It looks to be a point & click adventure and will be available on PC via Steam when available.
Attendees of Comic-Con 2022 in San Diego were able to get a playable sneak peek of the game as well as some information about what can be expected. While promoting attendees to take the time to wishlist the game within their Steam accounts. With increased wishlist numbers, the world will be able to see how much demand is there for such a great idea.
It is already listed on Steam’s website but can only be wishlisted for now. No pre-order or pricing information is available as the game won’t be released until sometime next year (2023). The developer is still hard at work and making sure the game is true to canon, filled with fun quotes, as well as familiar music and sounds.
