Comic-Con, in San Diego, brings in all of the major studios as they show off the latest TV shows and movies set to release the same year or soon after. One of these is Paramount, which always has exciting news to deliver. This round includes exciting panels, rare interviews, screenings, and a branded activation where they completely take over a downtown bar/restaurant.
This year, the studio has its Hall H panel that will be happening tomorrow, focusing on Star Trek’s latest season of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, along with a focus on Star Trek’s 60th anniversary. Cast from the series and more will be taking to the stage to discuss what’s to come.
Outside of the convention, where Paramount has its restaurant takeover, the location has turned into its normal Paramount Lodge. Each year, it focuses on specific content that Paramount is promoting. We visited the location yesterday to get a peek at what fans can expect.

Inside, you’ll find themed sections focusing on Avatar: The Last Airbender, Dutton Ranch, South Park, UFC, and Star Trek. Each section offers photo opportunities and other fun interactions. Such as UFC, where they have personal trainers (or maybe mock trainers) who walk you through a series of fun challenges that test your reflexes and strength.

The Avatar section offers custom sweet tea concoctions that you can enjoy, while the Dutton Ranch section offers branded sliders and a bar. Then you move on to the Star Trek section, which is always a fun visit each year.

In this section, they have another bar, this time with free drinks. There is a small menu with a few custom-themed mixes and a special DJ. We already know that “many Orions haven’t been pirates in over five years” (Star Trek: Lower Decks). This must be because they have found better fortunes in DJing.
The Paramount Lodge experience doesn’t require a badge, so if you are in the area, you can walk right into the general queue where you might get a chance to step inside. It also has a general ADA queue as well for those who need it.
Overall, it’s a fun experience in the San Diego downtown Gaslamp District that lets you escape a little into the world of Paramount. Meanwhile, the Star Trek panel in Hall H tomorrow is bound to be exciting. There will be quite a line for that one, and it will prove to be one of the biggest Hall H experiences this year.
