HyperX had some new devices that it revealed during the CES 2023 show in Las Vegas, including a brand-new Xbox controller that will be rolling out in a few months. The new controller seeks to take another swing at Microsoft’s own in-house line of controllers and set a name for itself in the third-party market.
This will be a wired option (no wireless alternatives this round) that features dual trigger locks and remappable rear buttons that allow the user to dial in their favorite games a little harder than the average controller.

It looks to come with all of your expected features, such as rumble motors, textured grips, and a 3.5mm stereo jack for connecting a wired headset to it. Beyond that, it looks like any other Xbox controller.
The launch window for the controller will happen in March and its MSRP will be around $35, keeping it well under Microsoft’s $55-$60 wireless models. Until then, we won’t know for sure how well it holds up to some of the other wired third-party alternatives in the market. However, HyperX does come with its own welcomed reputation which should say plenty.
