Today is a sad day for the comic, movie, TV and everything else “super hero” world. Stan Lee, the legend himself, has passed from this world today at the age of 95. He passed this morning at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
The last few years have been a bit rough on Stan with multiple adventures in court and the unfortunate death of his wife just last year. Thankfully, despite this, he has had the opportunity to live a long experience-filled life, working with some of the greatest artists and writers known to the industry. A face you have seen in nearly every live-action Marvel movie produced, it would be quite difficult to find someone who doesn’t know who he is or at least heard his name mentioned at some point.
Although we all knew this day would come, it still resulted in a large gasp nonetheless, as that thought slowly crosses your mind: “no way, that couldn’t be true! That man has been around forever!”
Stan Lee will be missed by the many many fans around the world.
