Amazon’s Fire TV Stick devices quickly become one of our favorite streaming options over the last year or so as the company pushes to become not only competitive on the hardware front but affordable as well. These devices open the world to your favorite TVs and monitors that support HDMI at a price that anyone can afford. It doesn’t matter if your TV is smart or dumb, they will turn it smart (or smarter) with access to all of your favorite streaming solutions and more. Now, the Fire TV 4K Max is on sale for its best price yet.
The 4K Max (currently on sale for $35) one-ups the regular 4K stick (currently on sale for $25 — our review here) in a number of ways with Wi-Fi 6 being the most notable, keeping up-to-date with the latest routers in the market right now and providing the strongest access to the internet.
It also features faster processing power, leading to a smoother experience overall. Something you find with every new-gen Amazon Echo or Fire TV model (stringing you along just like smartphones or anything else that gradually gets a little faster with each release). It does help though when you are able to zip through the menus faster or voice commands are much quicker at delivering you the content you ask for.
If you haven’t invested in a Fire TV Stick yet, this is the model you want to get your hands on currently. Especially, at the price it is currently on sale for. This is likely going to remain as the Black Friday price through the month until the company decides to crank it right back up again.
However, if you already have a Fire Stick 4K (previous-gen model), there really isn’t much of a need to upgrade. The original 4K model works just fine still and will last you much longer until a model release that is light-years better than it.
I’m sure Amazon won’t be running out of stock any time soon. It doesn’t happen often with the Fire TV devices. Then again, with everything else happening in the world, you never know what is going to fall into a shortage next. This is a great chance to jump on one though as it will shoot back to $50 whenever the sale ends.
