The man behind the movies like Clerks, Mallrats, Dogma and so many more, experienced a massive heart attack last night. He was in California for a two-show stand-up special, when he suddenly started to experience a number of odd symptoms that didn’t seem like they were going away.
“I felt kinda nauseous” Kevin Smith mentioned in a Instagram post. “Then I started sweating buckets and my chest felt heavy.”
He wound up canceling the second show in favor of going straight to the hospital, a decision that wound up saving his life. Now he claims he has faced one of his biggest fears, and it didn’t seem as bad as he thought it wound.
