There have been so many creative starship designs across the infinite amount of fictional TV shows, movies, cartoons, video games, books, and more. Some small and some so large, they compete with the moon, the Earth, the sun, and even far larger than that.
So have you ever wondered what they would look like if they parked next to each other side by side? Or if they touched down in your city? Or orbited the Earth? YouTube creator MetaBallStudios put together the following video that does just this, pitting the size of dozens of various starships, covering the smallest shuttles, to generational ships and more.
They have included so many examples all put next to each other for you to get a solid idea of how big they really are. Star Trek, Star Wars, The Expanse, Futurama, Halo, Mass Effect, Red Dwarf, Firefly, Cowboy Bebop, EVE Online, Independence Day, and StarCraft–just to name a few sources included.
The video puts a whole new look on the massiveness of some of these ships that can add to the experience the next time you catch them within your favorite book or film.
MetaBallStudios did a good job of putting all of this together and you can check all of it out here:
