Xbox One users will be happy to hear that HBO Go has finally been released to the Xbox One dashboard. An app that has already been available on both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, cable and satellite subscribers can now use it to access all of their favorite HBO content.
It also makes use of the Kinect for gesture and voice control.
HBO announced this month that next year it will allow users to subscribe to a stand-alone version of HBO vs having to go through a local cable or satellite provider; in an attempt to increase viewers and take back traffic that has been leaning more towards streaming packages instead of over-priced local providers.
