The Xbox Series S may not quite live up to the hardware capabilities of the Series X, but it sure does come close in many ways when you compare price to features. You just have to look at it for what it is. A streaming entertainment system. A solution for everything video, music, and game, via online downloads or streaming networks. A digital powerhouse for those that don’t quite need 4K.
It’s both affordable yet quite powerful and it is on sale. Not bad when you compare it to the rising costs of all the other consoles out there. This one remains where it was and yet you still get to save a little more on top of it.
Move over Roku, Fire TV, and everything else simple. These streaming devices don’t have anything on the Xbox Series S thanks to the limitless library of games available to it. From simple indie solutions to the latest modern titles.
That, and the system just doesn’t fall any cheaper than this. On sale for $249 via both the online Microsoft Store and Xbox Store, these prices are available until the sale comes to a close (assumedly by Black Friday or Cyber Monday). Then it will jump back to $299 until maybe next Black Friday.
Not only that, but Microsoft has hinted at the idea of possibly raising the price of its consoles sometime in the future. Mostly thanks to the global supply chain shortage and all the other familiar excuses the world is using to inflate the cost of everything you love. So this “may” be the last time you see this console at this price until the next-gen solution rears its head.
Of course, Microsoft has a number of games on sale as well. So while you are browsing for a new Xbox, check out some of the new titles in the Black Friday Sale. The company has a number of games included for both the Xbox consoles as well as PC. Along with accessories and more.
Update: It looks like Best Buy has also matched the sale price for the Xbox Series S as well. Likely, you might find it drop via some other retailers in the coming days as companies look to compete for your business.
