We don’t always sit down with a power bank for a piece like this due to the fact that they are a dime a dozen for the most part. There are so many brands and so many models. However, it is when one stands out among the rest that we take notice, and find something we want to talk about.
In most cases, your typical power bank requires you to drag around a cable for your devices, which creates one more thing you have to bring with you in your pocket or bag. This kind of conflict with an age where we try to take everything into the direction of “fewer cables”. We have wireless devices now that offer wireless charging, so why don’t most of these power banks offer wireless charging? Thankfully, a select few actually do, and that includes BlitzWolf’s 10000mAh Dual USB Wireless Charger.
Not only does this charger supply up to 10,000 mAh of power for your hungry devices, it also supports Qi charging built it. This means if you have a phone that also supports wireless charging, you can leave that wire at home.
Of course, if your device does not support wireless charging, then it will not work. So tablets, laptops, and more will still require their cables as usual. However, most of today’s modern smartphones (Apple, Samsung, LG, Google, HTC, and more) do support wireless charging, which makes this an important tool for your mobile arsenal.
It works quite well for your charging needs both wired and wireless, and we haven’t been able to find a single thing to point out that we didn’t like other than the fact that it doesn’t offer fast charging via wireless. When using it with a cable, it can supply up to 2.7A with USB (regular USB A or the new Type-C), which can be efficient for many of today’s devices. However, the wireless output is only 1A, which does bring you back to a regular slower charge. It still gets the job done–it just takes a little longer. Thankfully, that was the only disappointment.
You can charge the bank itself with either the USB Type-C or the micro-USB port. The micro-USB approach will be a little slower of course at 2A vs the 2.7A the Type-C port can achieve. This means the Type-C port can go both ways (calm down, no puns intended)–as in it can charge the bank itself, or charge a connected device from the bank (input + output). The micro-USB port is specifically an input only for charging the bank (of course, as there aren’t any devices with a cable that has micro on both ends). The normal USB A port is also for charging other devices with the bank as well.
The side of the bank has an oval-shaped button that triggers the bank and does have to be pressed one regardless of wired or wireless connectivity to devices. You can also press it at any point simply to see the current charge of the bank itself. There are four LEDs on the front side that represent 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100%.
It comes with a USB to micro-USB cable for charging the bank with, as well as some documentation. Everything you need to get started.

Our Conclusion
It works, and it works well. It didn’t fail once to charge via wire or wireless in our tests and it supplies a decent amount of power for any typical day, keeping your phones and tablets topped off as required. The lack of fast charging is a little disappointing, however, I’m sure this would also lead to unnecessary heat? In the end, we found we liked this power bank a lot since it takes the device cable out of the equation for today’s modern phones, making life that much easier to deal with (sometimes it’s the simpler things in life that really count).
