The market continues to be barren when it comes to finding an RTX video card anytime soon. In fact, your best bet of ever doing so is by buying into a pre-built system that comes with one inside. Thankfully, there is a light at the end of the tunnel as companies like Newegg focus on unique selling strategies (ie, lottery systems) that help to combat the demand from botnets and crypto-junkies. Which has been making it a little easier for normal consumers to get a chance at buying one.
To make things better, supply is starting to increase. Which has also created the potential of a price drop as the cards slowly climb down from their currently over-inflated heights, which will also force scalpers into finding a new hobby.
There is still a bit of a wait though before video cards become readily available to the masses at your favorite retail chains. In the meantime, how about a hands-on with the RTX 4090 from YouTuber “Captains Workspace”. A card way ahead of its game (and reality).
