Aiper, the company behind the Seagull 1000 robotic pool cleaner that we recently tested out this summer, has launched a (new) more affordable option into the market that takes robotic pool cleaners into the $250 mark. More similar to half the robotic vacuums out there. This is the new Aiper Seagull SE Cordless Robotic Pool Cleaner.
Besides taking on a cool design that looks like a personal underwater submarine you’d find in a popular science fiction film, the new cleaner sports a number of features that should prove useful to pool owners. Including up to a 90-minute run time for pools as large as 260 sq ft (recharged within 2.5 hours). It also has the ability to park itself when done or when it runs low on charge.
These robots make for a great solution for keeping pools clean so that you don’t have to dedicate so much of your own personal time toward doing it by hand. They aren’t miracle workers when it comes to messy pools, but they do seem to work well for your typical general maintenance. Just look back at our story of the previous model to get a better idea of their performance.
The Seagull SE is currently available online for an MSRP of $249.99 and I’m sure Black Friday will be a great time to look for some specials this month. We have made sure to include links in this story so you can easily find it.
