You can also control it via a free app, where you can create schedules for the plug to turn on and off however you need it to, or use its “Away-Mode” so that it will simulate someone being home (you would use this typically if you have lights plugged into it).
The bundle applies to a number of Echo devices including the Amazon Echo, Echo Dot, Echo Show, Echo Plus or Echo Spot. The fact that the Dot is in the mix means that you don’t have to spend a lot to score the bundle pricing.
