AOC has a number of new monitors flooding into the market, including their new V2 series as well as a brand new model to introduce their Agon series with. The latter of the two is a sexy new 32-inch curved QHD (2560×1440) HDR monitor looking to get the attention of gamers, sporting a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz and a 4ms response time.
The new Agon offers an 1800R curve to it, supports AMD’s FreeSync2, offers HDR400 certification, and looks to have quite a fun design to it. We definitely look forward to seeing one of these in person sometime soon hopefully, as expectations are starting to build the more we look over the information.
For inputs, you get two HDMI 2.0 ports, two DisplayPort 1.2 ports and a VGA (for those who just can’t let go of the past). You also get two USB 3.0 inputs as well and it offers a headphone out directly from the monitor, in case you wan’t nothing to do with it’s two built-in 5-watt speakers (because who listens to monitor speakers anymore?). It also has a small hook that extends from its side to store your headphones on while your not gaming.
It is VESA mountable (100×100) in case you want to mount it to a wall or an adjustable arm setup, which is great if you are looking to run multiple screens–by the way, if you do find yourself doing this, feel free to share some pictures below in the comments as we’d love to check it out!
The AOC Agon AG322QC4 monitor is available now for a price of $549.99.
As for the V2 Series, AOC has reduced the size of things by focusing on slim, with a thickness of only 7.7mm to 7.9mm depending on the model you buy into. These won’t be as visually impressive as the Agon above, but their price tags are a lot more reasonable.
They are targeted your everyday user looking for a 1080p IPS solution with a small footprint. They include a 22-inch (22V2H), 24-inch (24V2H) and 27-inch (27V2H) model. Price-wise they range from $99-$207 depending on the model and the store you buy them from.
You get support for AMD FreeSync, up to 75Hz refresh rate, as well as 20M:1 dynamic contrast with a 5ms response time. The backside has an single HDMI input as well as a single VGA (again, for those who can’t let go).
You can find them on Amazon here: 22-inch (22V2H), 24-inch (24V2H), 27-inch (27V2H)
