Apple has been in the works of scrapping the iMac Pro from availability as they move on to what will soon replace it. Likely something that will move away from the use of Intel chips, and instead, focus on Apple’s in-house alternatives. A hard-focus the company has been pushing toward for some time now.
The company sought to shed itself of any remaining models in inventory which seems to have recently occurred. With that, Apple has removed the official page for the iMac Pro, which now redirects users to the general Mac section of the website. An act that signifies that the line has officially been put to rest. At least, until its replacement makes an entrance.
Mac users that are in the realm of looking for something new will likely be satisfied later this year when Apple announces the next model to take the throne (or, at least the name). For now, the fastest Mac on the market has been laid to rest as we all wait to see what happens next.
Now, we can sit back and watch as the value of the iMac Pro inflates on platforms like eBay thanks to the sudden demand it will have on the used market. It is quite the popular model after all (at least, for many professionals and enthusiasts).
