Audeze is no stranger when it comes to delivering a gaming headset that demands your attention the moment you put it on your head. From comfort to performance, this company includes it all and now it has teamed up with Microsoft for a special edition of one of its latest models, the Maxwell.
Sounds like a fancy hotel I’d love to stay in, but instead, it is gaming headset from Audeze that looks to take on the likes of SteelSeries, Astro, and many others. And likely just as nice as the hotel I had imagined in my head for a moment there.
This is the new limited-edition planar magnetic Maxwell Ultraviolet gaming headset. Available for pre-order via Audeze’s website, the new headset retails for $329 and is officially certified by Microsoft to work for Xbox. It comes with a number of features like Bluetooth 5.3 with LE Audio, LC3plus, LDAC, Dolby Atmos, and FILTER A.I. noise-reducing microphone technology.
It offers up to 80 hours of use on a single charge with fast charging and can deliver audio up to 24-bit/96kHz to your ears while dominating on your favorite games.
Although we haven’t listened to the Maxwell ourselves, we have spent a great deal of time with some of the company’s other models. Such as the Audeze Penrose and the Mobius (one of our favorites). I’m sure this one falls right in line with the others when it comes to performance and quality.
It will officially be launching to the public on August 15th where it will continue to be available via Audeze’s website as well as Xbox’s. And I’m sure you’ll find it on the heads of many popular streamers simply knowing where it is coming from.
Now if you’ll excuse me, for some reason, just looking at the design of these headphones makes me want to go surround my ears with Daft Punk and Gunship albums.
