Bose is launching the new Bose Sport Earbuds next month

Looking for a new pair of true wireless earbuds? Are you a big fan of Bose? If so, you may be interested to know that they are launching a new pair next month (October). The new model is the Bose Sports Earbuds, centered around fitness and everyday use, and comes equipped with most of the features you’d expect from a solid pair of (modern) buds.

• No wires and what they claim will be a secure fit to your ears
  • Judging by their design, I’d say they look to have a lot of promise here.
• Bluetooth 5.0 for a solid connection and audio quality
• IPX4 Sweat/Water-resistance
  • Sadly they aren’t waterproof though, so no heavy rain, and no singing in the shower with these in your ears.
• Volume-optimized Active EQ
• Capacitive touch interface
• 5-hours of user per charge plus a case to keep them charged with

We haven’t heard them ourselves, so there isn’t much we can say just yet. Based on these specs, they may balance between middle-entry to a nicer option, depending on the audio quality in general. Clearly, they aren’t looking to compete too closely with the Bose QuietComfort Earbuds (don’t want to lose any of those sales), so they are missing some specs that a higher-end option would offer.

As mentioned, the Bose Sport Earbuds launch next month. However, they will be shipping toward the end of this month (starting Sept 29th) for those who have pre-ordered.
