Bose continues on the SoundLink series with the new Bose SoundLink Flex Bluetooth speaker, a refreshed mobile solution you can easily run out the door with, let it be for work or play. It promises to be both small and powerful, living up to the name behind it all.
The SoundLink Flex features Bose’s PositionIQ technology, which allows the speaker to know its current orientation (horizontal, vertical, or lying on its back). This allows it to adjust output in order to maximize sound quality and experience. Making for a unique feature coming from such a small speaker.
It can sync to a second speaker for stereo or party mode, while also being able to connect to other smart speakers by the company using Bose SimpleSync. This includes larger models as well as soundbars that support the same. Meaning it can sync with the rest of your music throughout the area or home while it is taking in the sun by the pool.
It features up to 12 hours of playback on a single charge (taking charge from a USB-C port) making sure it would get you through any typical day. The speaker also features a water resistance rating of IP67, protecting it against splashes, rain, and dust. It can even take being dropped in the water and will float back to the surface if it does happen. Bose also designed it to withstand a little abuse, making It rugged enough to drag it around outdoors.
You can get your hands on one by visiting Bose’s website or Amazon. It is also making its way to other retailers as well that specialize in Bose products. It is available in Black, White Smoke, or Stone Blue color options and features an MSRP of $149. Links are available below.
