We are just a day away until we will have crews on-site delivering all that’s new and cool at CES in Las Vegas, straight to you. An event that will run for nearly a week, it will be filled with all of the latest technology and innovations that 2016 has to offer.
There will be a strong focus this time around on topics such as mobility and wearables. Smartwatches and other connected accessories such as shoes, hats, goggles and so much more. A lot of talk about the future of cars and how they will be driving us before we know it and of course how they can interact with the other key variables such as the home we live in. There will be a focus on VR (virtual reality) and it’s integration into the world of gaming and how it can assist us at work (ie, mechanical or medical industries).
Home automation has also come a long ways and will see no end from here as companies explore new opportunities to automate the world around us.
All of these come together to interact with each other (todays word of the day: interact). The car can let the garage know you’re home and your watch can be used to control the environmental controls or change the channel on your TV. Your thermostat can detect presence in the room and your lights can follow you around the house as you make your way to your new 4K TV.
Of course 4K is going to be a hit as usual, but most likely more than usual as companies slowly contemplate the soon-to-come move of leaving 1080 behind (good thing it’s all backwards compatible!).
Stay tuned as we bring you an inside peak on all of this and more, starting tomorrow!
