Nexkey is a company who is looking to convert the locks you are already using into a smart lock, allowing you to turn any style of modern lock into something you can control using your phone. This would take away any limitations of having to choose from only the design and color options that are available from smart locks themselves. Instead, take that custom lock you installed throughout your business and convert it, allowing it to remain the same lock by design, but with its newly found features.
Their application (available on both iOS and Android), like most smart lock applications, allows admin users to add and remove user access at will, as well as set scheduled access times. Users can use their phones as a digital key for access (hopefully no one loses their phone), eliminating the need or normal keys (janitors and maintenance specialists rejoice). All they have to do is walk up to the door, and the app will detect the lock and grant them access.

Admins can manage logs of everyone coming in and out, helping to make sure everything is operating smoothly.
The Nexkey can operate on both battery or wired power, and promises to be able to withstand upwards to 50,000 uses before experiencing wear that might result in failures. They say can also last up to two years when running on battery life before the battery needs to be replaced, and is rated for both indoor and outdoor use due to its weatherproof coating.
Nexkey is clearly design for businesses in mind, although they say it can be used in any situations, including consumer purposes. However, they did not comment when we asked about pricing information (and their website is setup for a quote request vs up front display of costs), so it sounds like it is best to reserve it for your business needs for now until it becomes more active in the market.
