Not everyone wants a boring PC case that looks similar to all the other options out there. There are those looking to build a system that expresses their unique personality. Or something fun that can be considered a display piece on top of being a computer. Cooler Master has one of these options that will land perfectly in the homes of dedicated sneaker fans, with the Sneaker X PC.
Talking about unique, this PC’s enclosure is designed to look like a massive sneaker (I say massive since it is definitely bigger than the size of your foot). You won’t want to hide this one on your desk as you’ll want everyone to see every detail in its design.
With gamers in mind, this new PC is designed to house a mini ITX motherboard, a Cooler Master V850 SFX Gold power supply, select video cards (depending on size) via riser cable, a special Master Liquid series AIO liquid cooler, one 2.5″ SSD, a Cooler Master MF120 Halo fan, and more.
Specific specs in regards to the CPU/board options aren’t available yet, but it sounds like there will be options as the company says it will support the latest generations of Intel and AMD CPUs.
One thing you can count on, is that the hardware inside should end up being quite impressive. At least, we can only assume since it has a $5,999 price tag (oh yeah, that’s right). Some of that cost comes from its unique design. This will limit the number of sales to those looking for such a thing (hence making it more of a limited edition kind of product). It will be launching early July.
