This month has and will continue to be a big one for product launches as companies ramp up and prepare to begin releasing their 2017 models. One of these is Denon, with the release of their new S-Series AVR models.
More affordable to those not looking to break the bank, the S-Series ranges from $299.99 to $599.99, all of which bring full 4K @60P support to your living room.
The series begins with the 5.1 channel AVR-S530BT, which also packs HDR (high dynamic range). It provides up to 140 watts per channel, providing a lot of power to your speakers and supports full 3D passthrough for those looking to enjoy 3D movies on their new 4K TV. All of this packed into an affordable unit which is currently around $299.99.
As you move to the next two models (AVR-S730H and AVR-S930H), you begin to pick up additional features such as 7.1 channels, Dolby Atmos and DTS:X support, 160w-185w (max) per channel and WiFi with support for both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks.
All three of the new models support Denon’s HEOS wireless music streaming system as well as Bluetooth compatibility. They are just beginning to ship now, so there may be a slight delay in the first batch of orders I’m sure, as they begin to pick up haste and move closer to your favorite sources of 1 to 2-day shipping.
