Denon will be rolling out their 2020 X-Series lineup of AVRs (A/V receivers) this summer, starting with two models that will be landing right here in the month of June, and two more models releasing in July and August.
One of the biggest highlights for the new models is the support for HDMI 2.1, which can deliver resolutions of up to 8K for all of the devices passing through the AVR. The models will also deliver up to 13.2 channels worth out outputs and (up to) 140 watts per channel, along with plenty of inputs for all of your devices. Not a surprise since the X-Series is their line that competes with the likes of Yamaha’s Avantage and Pioneer’s Elite Series (so you’ll see them pulling out all the cards with these models).
The two models dropping later this month include the flagship AVR-X6700H and the AVR-X4700H.

The new models feature a three-year warranty and long list of wonderful specs to surely impress the most savvy of A/V enthusiasts with. Some of which you can see in the above spec previews.
The AVR-3700H ($1,199) will be launching later in July and the AVR-2700H ($849) a month later in August. These two models will see a drop in wattage and features like IMAX and Auro 3D, but will still offer a good run of options for a more budget-friendly price.
No pre-order information is available just yet (at the time of this story), but here are a few links to keep an eye on the X-Series line-up with, including the 2019 models:
