DJI has launched two new camera stabilizer gimbals into the world. The new models expand onto their Ronin series with and include the new RS 2 and the new RSC 2.
The slightly lighter-weight DJI RSC 2 is centered around DSLR and mirrorless models with a max payload of 3kg (around 6.6lbs). It features a folding design that makes it easier to pack it away and travel. It features multiple shooting angles including the ability to quickly switch to vertical shooting and offers up to 14 hours of use time (with fast charging support). It retails for $499 and is available now.
If that’s not enough for you, the new DJI RS 2 takes a little more weight at 4.5kg (around 9.9lbs). It’s a beast of a gimbal that can take a lot of weight while providing as lightweight of an experience as possible with its 1kg carbon fiber design. There’s a 1.4-inch touchscreen, focus wheel, and thumb-accessible joystick control for access to your camera and features.
Although battery life isn’t as impressive as the RSC 2 (likely since this can carry a bit more weight), it can still offer up to 12 hours of use time as well as fast charging and faster battery swaps. There are two NATO compatible RSA ports and plenty of mounting options that allow you to make use of it in so many situations.
The DJI RS 2 retails for $849 and is also available now. You can find links/buttons to both below to learn more.
