DJI Osmo Mobile 6 Smartphone Stabilizer

DJI’s lightweight smartphone stabilizer (gimbal) has gotten a new design yet again, now entering its 6th-gen version with the DJI Osmo Mobile 6 Smartphone Stabilizer. It is lighter than certain other options in your hand, comes with a fully extendable selfie stick, and comes with a number of options like auto-launch so that you are running with it in seconds.

With auto-launch, the DJI Mimo app automatically triggers to open the moment you turn the Osmo Mobile 6 on and attach your phone to it. The phone slaps right into place using a magnet adapter, reducing the amount of time it takes to assemble (much friendlier).

Both the app and the gimbal support ActiveTrack 5.0, which is able to track the person in front of the camera to keep them in the frame. Resulting in a smooth focus on the target and reduced distractions during recording since you can just sit it down on its stand and walk in front of it. No need for a second person to hold the camera.

It also has built-in functions for zoom, focus, quickly switching between portrait and landscape, gesture controls, and more. So that it is just as friendly in the hand as it is being used on its stand.

The new Osmo Mobile 6 recently shipped, offers an MSRP of $159, and is available via multiple retail locations both on and offline for pre-order. It does come with the tripod stand and magnetic mount for your phone so that everything is ready to go right out of the box.
