Attention all GoPro fans and those who have been waiting it out until they launch something worth buying or upgrading into: GoPro has launched their HERO7 lineup and it looks like they come with features worth waiting in an overnight line for (assuming you are a video enthusiast of course).
The GoPro HERO5 Black edition has been one of our favorites around here (of the GoPro models at least) for quite some time. Waiting for a new version to change our minds, we found ourselves more interested in the DSLR market when it came to such yearnings for thrill. Now however, GoPro might have just made a solid comeback to help revitalize their sales with.
Within this lineup is their new GoPro HERO7 Black Edition, which sports a number of new features that show that they have been actively listening and most likely cruising the CES show floor this year looking for current trends. One of the most highlighted features is called “HyperSmooth”, which changes the game for image stabilization by supporting professional level stabilization that makes some of the worst video like strapping a camera to an overly hyper/active dog as he runs around, look like it was shot by a pro. You can see from the following video how well the new stabilization performs. It immediatly made us wish we had one sitting here right now to test out!
Additional features include their new TimeWarp which allows for smooth moving time lapses thanks to the same stabilization technology, and the ability to use it to stream live to Facebook or share a streamable link to any other favorite social media platform (this is where we believe they were cruising CES for ideas since it was an even hotter topic this year).
It also offers voice command so that you can control it like you would something like Amazon Alexa, with 16 different commands to choose from. It is of course waterproof for up to 33ft, supports HDR, and so much more. You can find the list of specs just below.
They finally have a new generation model worth throwing yourself at the line for. Guaranteed to be the hot ticket item this year for youtube enthusiasts, sports enthusiasts, fun dads, Instagram celebrities and so much more. The lineup includes the new GoPro HERO7 Silver costing $299 and the GoPro HERO7 Black running the its normal $399 (and whose specs we are bragging about today).
