It looks like Home Depot and Airhthings have teamed up to develop a digital radon detector that you can only find at Home Depot stores across the nation. Airthings is the same company beyond the Wave Mini air quality sensor we recently tested out that gives you insight on the air within your home.
Similar to the air quality sensor, the “Home Depot x Airthings Digital Radon Detector” will offer an easy way of monitoring any radon levels that might be present within your home or any other location. It’s a handheld device that provides continuous short and long-term radon monitoring. The data is then provided via a simple display on the front where you can view daily, weekly, and long term measurements.
Although you won’t find Home Depot’s name on it anywhere, you will only be able to find it via Home Depot’s stores and website (link). It is officially available right now with an MSRP of $179.99 (so it is a bit expensive)
