If you are a gamer, streamer, editor, graphics switcher/operator, or in many of the other related industries that love to make use of shortcuts to make life easier, you have likely heard about the Stream Deck devices by Elgato. These have mostly dominated the industry, despite sometimes requiring multiple apps or steps to fully integrate them with your favorite software. Now, Logitech is hoping to add a little competition to the mix with its own solution.
The new Logitech MX Creative Console is a very similar product. It contains a series of configurable buttons that feature built-in displays that let the user know what each one does. It offers layers of options like digging deep into a menu. You can choose an app, which then changes all of the displays to read the various options you can do in that app (for example).
Logitech is using its partnership with Adobe to help illustrate (get it?) that it works quite well with all of your favorite Adobe titles (ie, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and Lightroom Classic). Quickly accessing various presets and tools with a single click. Allowing you to bounce back and forth quickly between actions/tasks.

Of course, it wouldn’t compete well if it was limited to Adobe products. It also supports additional software like Zoom, Spotify, and other popular titles. It also doesn’t just limit itself to being a Stream Deck look-a-like, as it also comes with a seperate dialpad device that contains additional shortcut buttons and a roller tool. It can be used to dial precise actions with (like adjusting various levels of an image or slide back and forth through your Premiere Pro timeline).
It does sound like it comes with a strong chance of success. Logitech is known for developing intriguing products that can sometimes rattle the industry. It has a well-established reputation and is known for supporting its products for a number of years.
Users can create up to 15 pages of buttons for each app assigned to the MX Creative Console. Allowing you to dive deep into all of your favorite software titles. All driven by a dedicated app that is filled with options and presets.
It will be launching next month (October 14th) for an MSRP of $199.99 and will likely be available via most certified retailers that sell Logitech products. It can currently be pre-ordered via Logitech’s website here as well as a number of retailers like Amazon. .
