The Logitech Brio was one of the first 4K webcams in the market that was worth its weight. It provided one of the best 4K images of its time in such a small sensor and stood out for quite some time since most of the competition offered 4K that was actually a lower resolution digitally stretched to make it look like 4K. Now, there are plenty of competitors out there and Logitech needed to step up its game.
With names like Nexigo and OBSBOT just killing it with AI-enhanced webcam solutions that offer all sorts of automation and control that users can tap into, the Brio was starting to look a little outdated. With that, Logitech has launched its new MX Brio 4K Webcam to compete a little harder against everything else out there.

Logitech says some of the enhancements that come with the new MX Brio is AI-enhanced auto-exposure, white balance, and other tools that focus on keeping the user as well-lit and camera worthy at all times. The company also says it will feature twice (2x) the performance of the previous Brio 4K model. It offers “show mode” that allows the user to flip the camera down (which also rotates the image) to focus on whatever they are working on in front of them (sketches, etc), which is a popular feature for online meetings and presentations.
It comes with a slightly new design, brags about using certain recycled materials in its build, and supports the Logi Options+ software for deep customization of its settings. There is background noise reduction, a privacy shutter,
The only thing that isn’t mentioned anywhere is AI tracking, which is something that has become popular with $200-$300 range webcams from some of these other companies. It doesn’t look like Logitech opted has opted to go this route with this model. So this will still create a strong competitive vibe from some of the other names out there for those looking for these features.
It is currently available via Logitech’s website and select retailers for an MSRP of $199.99.
