Avid gamers rejoice, as MSI recently announced an incredibly powerful video card to quench your FPS thirst with. The card is the MSI GeForce RTX 2080 Ti GAMING Z TRIO, and it seems to be wanting the thrown when it comes to performance.
The new card features 11GB of GDDR6 memory and promises up to 16Gbps performance, leaving the previous model (RTX 2080 Ti GAMING X TRIO) just slightly in its dust. There is no doubt that this card can give you the upper edge within your favorite games, as well as provide many benefits to other power users in industries like design and editing. It should also give you a helpful boost if you are contributing to the world’s COVID-19 research efforts using the Folding@Home software.

Although the card has begun to launch in various parts of our fine world (as of April 16th), MSI has not released a price within the U.S. just yet. We’ll likely start to see these trickle into the market by the end of the month depending on if there are any manufacturing setbacks caused by current world events. Based on history, X Trio, and prices available in other countries, our estimated guess is that it would fall around $1,499. So the average gamer isn’t going to be rushing out the door (or online) to get their hands on one any time soon. However, competitive gamers and professionals may be eye-balling this for sure, when it does launch locally.
