NAD will be launching a new two-channel amp next month that is riddled with power and boasting Purifi Eigentakt amplification technology. The new amp can supply 185W per channel (8 ohms) and can be bridged into a single 620W (8 ohms) mono source. It can also achieve 340 watts continuous at 4 ohms and over 570W instantaneous power for short term musical transients (which would be great for the opening of something like “Ole Bull: Violin Concerto No. 2 in E minor” paired with the right speakers).
The new amp focuses on noise-free power for your audiophile setup when paired with a pre-amp/processor of equal capabilities. Inside, the Eigentakt modules (by Purifi, a Danish technology company) are manufactured by NAD under license from Purifi to help deliver an outstanding product. We have no doubt that this will deliver an amazing performance.

It will be launching next month (October 2020) with an MSRP of $1,999 (USD)
