NAD Electronics is revving up to launch its latest high-end AVR/receiver into the world. The new model is their T 758 V3i 7.1-channel surround sound receiver, which is actually an “affordable” option compared to what you’d typically find with a company like NAD, weighing in at $1,499.
The new receiver supports full 4K@60 passthrough with HDR as well as a number of audio specifications, including Dolby Atmos, DTS Master Audio, BluOS multi-room audio, Dirac Live, Apple AirPlay 2, and more. A good mix of all of the latest features you’d expect to find in a modern high-end receiver, mixed with NAD audio circuitry.
It also sports their Modular Design Construction (MDC), where audio and video circuits are on replaceable modules that allow you to upgrade certain portions of the receiver over time as technologies become deprecated or replaced by something much better. Something which is completely new to the world of AVRs.
NAD’s Speaker IQ allows you to easily calibrate the room using a supplied microphone, which is also enhanced thanks to the Dirac Live Room Correction which uses the same mic.
For connectivity, you have 3x HDMI 2.0 inputs and 1x HDMI 2.0 output. You have a USB port, 2x coaxial (digital) and 2x optical (digital) inputs. There are 3x stereo RCA inputs and 1x 7.1-channel RCA input. You have both wire and pre-outs for your channels an one zone out for each to run to another area.
