Anycubic has announced the release of its next FDM 3D printer, the Anycubic Vyper, with orders beginning today. The new printer looks to take on models coming from competitors like Creality and includes some very fascinating features at a great price point.
The new printer features some of the most popular options one would be looking for in a new model. One of these is built-in 16-point auto bed-leveling, which is a must-have for most enthusiasts. There is a magnetic bed with what looks to be a removable PEI sheet to make popping prints off with a simple bend while providing what should be an excellent surface for adhesion.
You get a 4.3″ touch screen (that apparently comes with a new kind of interface) for controlling the printer, which also supports auto-resume after power loss. There is a dual-gear extrusion system to help guide the filament through. Then there is two-way heat dissipation at the nozzle, dual screw z-axis for stability, a dual photoelectric limit switch for the z-axis, TMC2209 silent board drivers (a 32-bit motherboard), and a print speed of up to 100mm/s.
There is a promise of fast assembly, which should hopefully lead to a user-friendly install experience. The print area is 245mm x 245mm (260mm height), which should accommodate more users within this price point.
It really does sound like it has a lot of things going for it, making for an exciting release we hope to learn more about in the future. For now, it is only just seeing the light of day as orders begin this morning.
The MSRP for the new Anycubic Vyper is $359. However, Anycubic is offering the first 3000 units at $299 to celebrate the launch (of purchased from Anycubic’s website). 3000 makes for a lot of 3D printers and an excellent chance that you will be one of those lucky buyers. We made sure to include links below so you can quickly find the printer, in case you want to be one of the first to order one.
