Before they could be launched, the new Beats Studio Buds Plus model was leaked by Amazon when Amazon accidentally made the product listing for it live ahead of time before quickly pulling the page back down. Meanwhile, the internet was fast at discovering the listing and spreading its information around before Beats (a brand owned by Apple) gets a chance to announce the new model to the world personally.
The new model comes with an interesting transparent design, allowing you to see what’s going on inside the shell for both the buds and the charging case. While also offering the option of white or black as an alternative option for those not looking to be so rebellious.
As you’d expect, they come with some new improvements. Including better active noise canceling and transparency modes, spatial audio support, and support for both Apple and Android devices (while still supporting certain Apple-only features like Find My). It will also offer up to 36 hours of battery life per charge (when using the case to keep them refreshed between uses)
The new Beats Studio Buds Plus will launch on May 18th with an MSRP of $169.99. When the page will likely be made public again on Amazon and you’ll see it pop up elsewhere as well. Unless Apple/Beats launches the information sooner, making them available for pre-order ahead of time.
