News: HTC Says They Are Working on The Worlds First 64-bit Octa-Core Smartphone

HTC has announced on their Weibo (Chinese) blog site, that they are working on the world’s first Octa-Core 64-bit Smartphone. There is no mention of further details that hint to what OS or associated specs it may include, but it should definitely bring a noticeable improvement when compared to our already blazing fast mobile devices.

Currently, the top performing models on the market feature 2.[*]Ghz quad-core chips (ie, HTC’s One M8 has a 2.3Ghz quad-core design).
