PNY has launched the new Elite-X Fit USB 3.1 Flash Drive that packs 512GB into a small footprint that is no larger than your average mini Wi-Fi USB adapter sticking out the side of your favorite laptop.
Not only is this drive small, but thanks to its support for USB 3.1, it can deliver read speeds of up to 200MB/s (depending on the speed of the port you have it inserted into of course), making it a pretty fast little drive. Although its write speed likely isn’t as exciting (we haven’t seen an exact number just yet), it will likely still be impressive for its size.
So if you are looking for a lot of space, with a lot of speed, that can easily fit into the smallest of pockets, this would make for an excellent contender. It is available now with an MSRP of $99.99, making for an expensive flash drive like you’d expect any new large-capacity drive to be as it enters the market.
