Samsung has announced their new Quantum Dot curved monitors for an enhanced computing experience, taking what we see, further than the IPS and PLS screens we have all bragged about this year.
The new monitors will be on display during CES in Las Vegas this January where attendees will be able to get one of the first looks at them. Some models have already entered the market, ready for purchase, including the new CF701, a 34-inch model with 21:9 aspect ratio. It features a 3,440 by 1,440 resolution with a 4ms response time. Other models feature specs including 144Hz refresh rates, AMD FreeSync and more. These aren’t 4K just yet, but you can expect to see more models roll out as 2017 progresses.
These new displays will range in price from $349 to $999 and are targeted towards gamers and designers more than anything, but any enthusiast looking for a better image will more than likely be eyeing these.
We will make sure to bring you more once we see them at CES.
