If you are in the market for a new 4K monitor, Samsung has one that just dropped to its best price ever out of nowhere. Originally $729, this monitor has suddenly fallen to just $399 and it comes with a long list of features you might just find attractive. It is the Samsung M8 Series 32-Inch 4K UHD Smart Monitor.
Perfect for those not interested in curved monitors, this is a flat 32-inch 4K UHD HDR/HDR10+ powerhouse with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB, and HDMI integrated. It offers a built-in webcam that is slim in size and slides ride onto the top, built-in speakers, and the ability to not even need anything connected to it.
That latter part is one of its special super powers. It is a monitor, but it is kind of like a smart TV at the same time. It offers support for some of your favorite streaming options like Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video, Apple TV, Disney+, and many others. All you have to do is connect it to Wi-Fi.
It also has something called “Workmode” that allows you to remotely access other PCs and laptops by only having that Wi-Fi connection. Nothing else plugged into the monitor itself. As well as the ability to plug into your Samsung mobile devices that support DeX.
This makes for a crazy monitor that stands out from the rest, but it doesn’t stop there. It also has Samsung’s SmartThings built-in, allowing you to connect to and control other SmartThings compatible devices. With the limitation of needing an additional dongle for Zigbee support and not having Z-Wave support (if you don’t use Z-Wave devices, this isn’t a big deal).
There is just a whole lot going on with this monitor for just a $399 price tag. Not to mention it is a 4K 32-inch monitor. Does that make it a steal? Kind of does.
