A company by the name of Dashbon is working on a new pair of true wireless earbuds that promise a list of specifications that will help boost them in the market to possibly being one of the best true wireless options money could buy—assuming of course they sound just as good as they spec out to be.
The new earbuds are called the Sonabuds 2 Pro, and like most other true wireless options, they have zero wires running in between the buds, allowing them to discreetly hide within your ears, and store within a clam shell container that also acts as their charger when not in use. Nothing new there.
What will set these apart from some of the other options in the market, is that they plan for them to offer up to 15 hours of play time on a single charge, with the case providing a total of 74 hours before having to worry about plugging anything in (the case of course has a built in battery that charges them on the go). Since true wireless buds get rid of the normal wire that runs between the buds with most Bluetooth earbud solutions, they lack the additional space for battery. Thus they typically lack in the department of battery life as well. The Sonabuds 2 Pro aim to resolve this.
In addition to this, they will feature Bluetooth 5.0, which allows for plenty of data throughput, which raises our expectations for audio quality since you can do a lot with such a pipeline. Not only that but they promise to also provide zero delay between audio and video which can be quite common with using two Bluetooth devices linked to each other (earbuds, speakers, etc).
Finally, they will also feature an IPX6 rating which protects them against your typical splashes of water, allowing you to run around in the rain with them or sweat it out at the gym. All of these features making them quite the catch if it all comes together as they plan.
The buds are currently in prototype stages, so it will be awhile until you can get your hands on a pair. Currently their estimated ship time is February 2019. They are crowdfunding everything through Indiegogo, and you can find them here where you can learn more about them or even back the project with an early bird donation or pre-order (as you can reserve a pair for as low as $55).

Bad Bluetooth connection! Have to keep iPhone in shirt pocket. Meh. ?????
Hello Joe. It still shows these are in “PROTOTYPE STAGE”, so they don’t seem to be anywhere near ready for launch. I would assume you are referring to another product?
