Many T-Mobile customers have taken to the web to complain about an outage tonight that is mostly affecting communications between them and Verizon customers, including both text and phone conversations. This outage went on for a number of hours and still shows a number of customers claiming to be experiencing the effects.

It also appears to be causing an odd case of grammar malfunctions amongst said customers.

Ok, that last part may not be the fault of any cellular provider, but there was/is definitely a problem and neither company has taken credit for the cause. Both T-Mobile and Verizon claim that everything is working just fine on their end. That there are no problems on either network, thus it had to be somewhere else.
Which leaves you to wonder, what it could be. That being said, it could actually be a number of things. However, most of these would show on their end as an issue as well. DNS troubles, for example, would quickly be seen on both sides as this would result in a long list of errors across the board.
We will likely see a response from one of the companies once a culprit is obvious and in the wild. Until then, the world waits patiently for someone to step up with an answer.
I can say, at least, that there haven’t been any troubles experienced here. Of course, we are located on the West Coast, which helps. A majority of everyone here (myself, my team, and my other colleagues) is on T-Mobile though, and have had nothing but great experiences with them over the last few years or more. So our expectations are pretty high that the company isn’t going to nose dive anytime soon.

I experienced a little of this but it wasn’t bad. A text here or there that came late. I think it was DNS troubles. Maybe they did know about it but chose to simplify their answer by explaining it wasn’t on their end. Knowing it would eventually figure itself out. Just my two cents.
