T-Mobile has been offering its customers various discounts and perks as part of a program called T-Mobile Tuesdays. It has been a popular feature that customers have been able to take advantage of using the T-Mobile Tuesdays app. However, the company is about to make some changes to how it works.
Thankfully, the program itself isn’t going anywhere. So customers can continue to save money on services, food, and tickets to their favorite concerts as they pop up every week. It just won’t happen within the T-Mobile Tuesdays app, which will be deprecated soon.
The company made the announcements within the app, letting customers know that it will be merging into a new app titled “T Life” which will be launching soon. It is an attempt to bring some of the apps and features into a single app. So you don’t have to have so many apps installed. This won’t be limited to just T-Mobile Tuesdays as it will also include things like T-Mobile Home Internet based on the screenshots they provide of the app in the announcement.
T-Mobile hasn’t specified an exact date for this transition but the announcement also says that you will automatically get it if the T-Mobile Tuesdays app is set to auto-update.
It’s actually a great idea as T-Mobile has far too many apps at this time. Requiring users to have to install all of them if they want to take advantage of various services, perks, and settings. This would greatly improve on that making things much more intuitive and friendly (at least, in theory).
