Google’s Find My Device network is still trailing behind Apple’s, but it is slowly catching up as companies improve performance (especially, on Google’s end). One of the biggest issues is there just aren’t a lot of people making use of it just yet. However, thanks to a big sale on the most popular tracker supported by Google’s network, it’s the best time to get started.
Chipolo is the company behind the tracker and it’s the Chipolo One Point. A small tracker with a CR2032 coin cell battery tucked away inside. The battery is supposed to last up to a year and users can replace it when needed, keeping costs low vs having to buy a new tracker each time (unlike some of the other 3rd party trackers).
The tracker usually retails for around $22-$26, but it is currently on sale via Amazon for just $14.99, marking one of the best prices we have ever seen for it (and leading to many of us picking up a few to add to our own collections).
These trackers are great for keeping in your purse, backpack, travel bag(s), and more. Similar to Apple’s AirTags, they can help you keep an eye on your stuff if they ever grow legs and walk away, or you are traveling. Which can be very helpful when it comes to peace of mind.
There is no telling how long the sale will last, so it could change at any moment (again, these prices can be found at the time this article was published). But a 42%-off discount is pretty enticing when it comes to starting a collection or adding to what you already have.
