As our teams scoured the endless halls, ballrooms, and suites that make up what is CES 2025, a convention that completely takes over the city of Las Vegas, we continuously found ourselves upon so many fascinating products that are guaranteed to take 2025 over. Some of these discoveries were found within the UGREEN exhibit, where the company demonstrated its new NASync iDX Series with Integrated LLM that will be launching this year.
It doesn’t end there, as this was just one of the highlights the company had to show off at this year’s show, but it was the biggest. The new NAS products expand upon the AI-equipped solutions it brought to the market last year, by building in an LLM (large language model). This is something that should allow the user a much deeper analysis of the potentially many thousands of files stored within.
This allows a user to search using automatically generated keywords, and text-based search terms that not only search file names but the content within (including images). One could also create a text-based summarized report of topics discussed/mentioned in audio files, and even chat with it like you’d expect any LLM.
These new NAS products will be trickling into the market throughout the year, going into quarter three. They do not have a price just yet, but you can probably assume that they will fall somewhat close to the original MSRPs of last year’s model (just a guess, though).

In addition to these new NAS solutions, the company also had a few other exciting products to show off. Including its new UGREEN Nexode 500W Desktop Charger which will also be released this year. This charger offers five USB Type-C ports and one USB-A, allowing a combined output of up to 500W. Allowing you to use it to charge most laptop models out there, along with all of your other favorite devices (or multiple laptops). One of the Type-C ports supports up to 240W of PD charging.
The charger looks like an absolute beast and feels like one too. We had the chance to pick it up and give it a thorough (visual) inspection while at the show. It definitely feels like it has quite a lot going on inside. It makes use of passive cooling (no fans inside) and looks simple, but still great to the eyes.
Finally, there was also mention of a coming Thunderbolt 5 dock this year. UGREEN didn’t have one to show off just yet, but the company is working on a new TB5 solution that will bring with it all of the benefits the new standard offers. TB5 will be turning heads this year as motherboards and devices that support it swarm the market. However, we may not see it happen until a little later in the year since many of such products launch sometime in the Spring or Summer.
Although UGREEN doesn’t have any price information or exact launch dates just yet, this does show that it is hard at work to keep the wheels of invocation spinning.
UGREEN products can be found on Amazon via its Amazon Store.
