Vizio has announced the availability of the new 2018 lineup of their flagship P-Series Quantum 4K HDR Smart TVs. The new TVs have a “bezel-less” (aka, near bezel-less) design to them, keeping the footprint down as possible while keeping the image space large.
Packed with features like Dolby Vision HDR, Active Full Array Max backlighting with 192 zones of local dimming, UltraBright 2000 (2,000 nits of peak brightness), and Clear Action 960 (240Hz effective refresh rate), you can expect to get immersive visuals, vivid color ranges and deep dark blacks that really allow the image to pop. Vizio’s Quantum Color Spectrum promises over one billion colors to bring everything together with.
“The P-Series Quantum combines the best VIZIO picture quality technologies and wraps them in a beautifully modern aesthetic,” said Bill Baxter, Chief Technology Officer, VIZIO.
The P-Series (as mentioned) is their flagship line, delivering the best image that Vizio has to offer. They typically feature all of the familiar screen sizes (although this round is dedicated to the 65-inch model), while delivering far better visuals than their other lines (E-Series, D-Series, and M-Series). These TVs are targeted for videophiles looking to get the best graphics for their home theaters (and of course those who aren’t but have all the money to spend on nice stuff).
The new TV supports both Google Assistant and Amazon’s Alexa, allowing you to control everything with your voice, including all of your favorite streaming applications, like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Vudu and more. It also features Google Chromecast built-in, allowing the ability to easily stream thousands of Chromecast-enabled apps from your phone.
As mentioned, this round is all about their 65-inch model (PQ65-F1), which will run you around $2,099.99. It is now currently available via popular retailers like Best Buy, Costco and Sam’s Club–eventually making its way to online outlets like Amazon.
