Just in case you thought you didn’t have enough storage for your games based on what the Xbox comes with by default, companies like Western Digital (WD) step up to give you something to solve all of your problems with. Their Black-series being one of the best options when it comes to both speed and capacity has always been there to offer an external upgrade via USB. Now, that upgrade has gotten even bigger.
WD is launching a new external version of their Black-series, centering two of them (in ways) around the Xbox One gaming console. The drives will feature a new physical design and everything, sporting a military-like look and two of the models will include Xbox’s logo included on the face.
The new drives will support up to 12TBs of capacity, allowing you to store pretty much every game in your collection and more with (including all of those 4K titles that suck up a lot of space). One of the drives will feature a USB 3.2 gen 2×2 port and support read speeds of up to 2,000MB/s.
