Yeah, that’s right! Western Digital’s 1TB WD_Black SN850X NVMe has been on sale for one of its best prices ever on Amazon. The current price (at the time of writing this) is only $77.99, making it quite the time to upgrade your favorite PC or laptop (or PlayStation 5).
Not only that but there seems to be a clickable $9 coupon (again, at the time of writing this), which would bring the price down even further to $68.99. Making the deal that much better.
So why is it so low? NVMe has seen a massive drop in price this year, leading to a much-needed rush on new NVMe products all over. These price drops can be seen across multiple companies and models. But this is the first time we’ve seen the 1TB WD_Black (ie, Black Edition) this low.
It is a PCIe Gen4 model capable of read speeds of up to 7,300 MB/s and write speeds of up to 6,350 MB/s, making for a blazing fast NVMe. It is available as up to 4TB, although that model’s price is (currently) $299.
We can’t say for sure how long this sale is going to last as it doesn’t quite state it on the website. But it is quite the find being that Prime Day is only a few weeks away. And yet this is a Prime Day level price drop. For the WD_Black series, at least.
