The Logitech C920 and C922 webcams have been some of the most highly requested models out there for those working or attending school at home. You can accomplish 1080p@30 smoothly with a clean image, autofocus, various other adjustments, and the ability to auto-adjust to various lighting conditions, including low-light. They make for a fantastic webcam solution, which is also why you haven’t been able to find one for many months during the COVID situation.
Now, some stock has been trickling in here and there and we have gathered some options on where you can currently get your hands on one or at least join a back-order list (everywhere else you will simply find them as “sold out”).
Option: Logitech Store
The Logitech website shows the C920 in stock ($79.99 – Normal MSRP) right now, which is the best place to get your hands on it right now.
Option: Amazon
Amazon currently shows the C922x model in stock ($99.99), although it won’t be shipping until later this month. They also have the C920x available for $102.68, which is $22.68 inflated from the normal price.
Option: Walmart
Walmart currently shows the C920s model in stock in various forms ($99-$118). It is a little more expensive than the other options, but in case you miss the others, this is at least on the list. The price varies because they are sold by various 3rd-party vendors via Walmart’s website. It’s best not to spend more than $99 though as anything beyond that is overly-inflated to take advantage of the situation (and we don’t want to support sellers/companies that do that, right?).
Option: TigerDirect
This option is different. TD does indeed offer the option to buy one, however, they are sold out and back-ordered. The benefit of this option is if you aren’t in a rush to get one, you will at least get one shipped out to you as soon as they have stock, and at the right price ($79.99). As mentioned, many other retailers don’t offer the option to join a back-order list like that.
