Withings focuses on healthy living, developing products that monitor your day to day life and help you to develop a game plan at improving your yourself, like losing weight. At CES 2019, they have revealed three new products within their line that add to this goal.
Two of these include new watches with the Withings Move and the Withings Move ECG. Both of these watches offer an analog design, keeping things visually simple and casual, while behind the scenes they monitor your activity throughout both the day and night just like any other fitness tracker. Both watches track your fitness, offer an extensive amount of visual customization to the watch itself, are water resistant up to 50 meters, and boast excellent battery life with the Withings Move offering up to 18 months of battery life. In addition to these features, the Move ECG also packs the ability to also record an ECG on-demand, for those looking to monitor heart health. It sacrifices a little when it comes to battery life to achieve this, but they claim you still get up to 12 months out of the battery regardless.
The third item is their Withings BPM Core, which is an armband-style cardiovascular monitor that can measure not only your blood pressure, but can also record an ECG and allow you to listen to the heart with a built-in digital stethoscope.
All of the information from these devices can be logged and tracked via their app and will be launching this year, starting with the Withings Move ($69.95) in February. The Move ECG ($129.95) and the BPM Core ($249.95) will be launching later sometime within the second quarter of 2019.
We have had a little experience with their products in the past, including their Withings Thermo, which is a non-invasive thermometer which works great in the home for everyone in the family, especially babies. We also had a discussion with Penn Jillette from the Penn & Teller show, who shared with his experience with the Withings product line and how it helped him through his endeavors.
