Obviously you are going to get better results if maintaining a solid diet and not sitting around the house all day, but Slendertone will soon (February 1st) be launching their Connect Abs, which uses electro-stimulation to work those abs out with, helping them to shape and form.
It wraps around your stomach and sends small stimulations to the nerves that cause the muscles to contract and relax. You typically do it for about 25 minutes 3 days a week for 6-8 weeks. You can use it while doing other exercises to intensify your work out routine, or use it on downtimes to simply add to your efforts.
This isn’t anything new as these belts have been on the market for quite awhile now, but this is Slendertone’s first model that supports an external device for control using their app. Their app currently supports iOS devices and can be used to help better shape the usage to you and what you are looking to achieve. You start off by registering an account on the app and then answering a number of questions about yourself. Control of the belt is as simple as sliding a horizontal line up and down. on your device. It doesn’t take much to start feeling something.
There are plans to support Android devices as well by the end of the year (no word on Windows 10 devices just yet).
