Both the Xbox Series X and Series S consoles have been slowly making their way back to store inventories. You can use the below list of retailers to find out who still has anything in stock this Black Friday. You might just find yourself a lucky owner of one of the new consoles.
Of course, quantities are limited so they are going fast and likely will be gone quicker than you can shake a finger at your keyboard, so good luck! Try coming back throughout the day in case any of the retailers wind up restocking with a few more. Keep in mind that it is you against the world trying to get your hands on one (or at least it feels that way with all of the consumers and bots scrambling to score one in their cart). The story continues below, after the list of stores/links…
Newegg
Amazon
Target

Walmart
Microsoft Store
Best Buy
(continued story…)
The initial launch of the consoles resulted in almost every consumer running into an out-of-stock message via every retailer website claiming to have their hands on some. A lot of this is due to the massive botnets that are scouring the web looking for whatever they can scoop up so they can then resell them at inflated prices to take advantage of people. It’s wrong that they are doing that (clearly) and retailers and manufacturers are also scrambling to find ways to circumvent the efforts of these people so that normal consumers will have a chance at something.
Hopefully, they find a way to put an end to these bots (preferably by taking down the individuals behind them somehow). That latter statement is a little harder to do than it seems justifiable to the consumers since they need something to bring them down within court, but it would be nice. Maybe calling it an injection-style attack on their websites therefore a cybercrime. I know, it’s a little far out there, but worth thinking about.
Either way, good luck, and happy shopping. If you manage to get your hands on one, due share in the comments below. We’d love to hear your stories.
